FFK stands against aggression and violence

The Curaçao Football Federation (FFK) deeply regrets the incidents that led to the premature termination of the Kopa Kòrsou final between Inter Willemstad and Victory Boys.
The FFK strongly emphasizes that aggression, intimidation, and violence, in any form, will not be tolerated or accepted within Curaçao football. This applies to players, coaches, staff members, officials, supporters, and all other individuals involved.
Football stands for sportsmanship, respect, discipline, and fair play. Ensuring a safe environment for everyone, particularly our referees, is of the utmost importance. Every referee must be able to perform their duties without fear of threats, intimidation, or physical violence.
The FFK takes these incidents extremely seriously and will carefully review them in accordance with the applicable regulations and procedures. The Federation is currently awaiting the official referee’s report, after which the relevant disciplinary bodies will assess any potential sanctions and determine the next steps regarding the match.
The FFK’s position is clear: violence has no place on or around the football field.
As the governing body of football in Curaçao, we remain committed to fostering a safe, respectful, and professional football environment where sportsmanship and mutual respect always come first.

FFK ta enfatisá ku agreshon, intimidashon i violensha, den kualke forma, no lo ta tolerá ni aseptá den e mundu di futbòl na Kòrsou. Esaki ta konta pa hungadónan, entrenadónan, personal tékniko, ofisialnan, fanatikonan i tur otro persona envolví.
Futbòl ta representá deportividat, rèspèt, disiplina i wega limpi ( Fair Play ).
Garantisá un ambiente sigur pa tur hende, spesialmente pa nos árbitronan, ta di suma importansha. Kada árbitro mester por ehersé su funshon sin miedu di menasa, intimidashon òf violensia físiko.
