Curacao wins semi-final in Martinique

The national selection of Curacao has reached the final of the Caribbean Cup. Sunday June 25 the team will play against Jamaica for the title.  
Martinique’s Yoann Arquin scored the 16e minute of the match in the Stade Pierre Aliket in Fort-de-France. Half an hour in the game it started raining quite hard and Curacao came back into the game, putting pressure on Martinique.
After the halftime break Gevaro Nepomuceno scored for Curacao after Curacao was awarded a penalty for a foul in the Martinique box. Curacao kept pushing for a second goal and in the 72e minute Rangelo Janga scored 2-1. In an offensive effort Martinique came close to equalizing the score but goalkeeper Eloy Room twice saved the match for his team.

Jamaica won the semi-final against French Guyana with penalty’s after a final score of 1-1. Curacao will play the final against Jamaica on Sunday June 25 at 19.30 ‘o clock. TD Remko Bicentini team consisted of Rangelo Janga, Jarchinio Antonia, Elson Hooi and  Gevaro Nepomucena, Sharon Carmelia and Leandro Bacuna , Gillian Justiana, Darryl Lachman, Quentin Jakoba and Cuco Marina and Eloy Room as goalkeeper.
