Even after losing the second match 7-4 from Canada, Curacao could still make it to the next phase by beating Costa Rica big time.

However, Costa Rica, the future CONCACAF champion of 2016, prevented this and beat Curacao 6-3. Which meant exit Curacao, back home to Curacao with lots of lessons learned.
